I give private guitar, bass and ukulele lessons in Swiss German, French or English.
It’s important to me to find the right teaching approach for every student. We’re all different—we don’t all have the same taste in music, the same idea of how to play an instrument, or the same pace at which we make progress. But if you’re motivated to learn guitar, I’ll find the best way to teach you by taking your needs, goals, and learning pace into account. The most important thing for me is to teach you how to play guitar, bass or ukulele while considering your musical influences and preferences, so that you enjoy making music.
I have been teaching guitar, bass, and ukulele for 16 years. I have worked in France, giving private and group lessons, leading early music education workshops in elementary schools, and conducting group playing workshops. I have also taught group guitar lessons in a correctional facility. Now I work in Switzerland, in a music school in the Bern region, and as an independant, giving private lessons in Aarau.
As a musician, I’ve been playing in various bands for 20 years, ranging from gypsy jazz to folk, pop, rock, and even death metal. I’ve played over 400 concerts in France and Switzerland and recorded 20 studio albums. You can check everything I've done in the differents sections of this website.
